Murder of 29 people in single worst atrocity in Irish history. Case involved an international recalibration and interpretation of DNA evidence.

  1. R v Paddy Jackson March 2018

We successfully defended Ulster and Ireland rugby player, Paddy Jackson who was unanimously found not guilty of an allegation of rape, following a 9 week trial.

 

  1. Operation Concentric 2021

We successfully represented several defendants in criminal proceedings brought collaboratively by HMRC officers supported by the PSNI. The investigation, code named Operation Concentric, was the largest operation and investigation into suspected or alleged Tax Fraud by HMRC and Police to date. The case alleged a suspected £15m money-laundering, income tax and VAT fraud linked to the local building industry.
