Dr Hugh McGoldrick – GMC proceedings
We act on behalf of the above named.
We refer to proceedings instituted by the GMC before the Medical Practitioners Tribunal and decision issued on 27/2/17.
We are instructed to appeal the Decision and can confirm that notification of same will be served on all parties including the High court in Belfast.
We can advise that in November 2016 Dr McGoldrick lodged a complaint with PSNI alleging criminality arising from a previous investigation.
Despite ongoing police inquiries in relation to Dr McGoldrick’s allegations the Tribunal refused to postpone the disciplinary proceedings.
Dr McGoldrick does not accept the Tribunal findings and has every intention of contesting them.
He rejects completely any allegation that he was ever dishonest.
